●Takenoko House *Takenoko means "bamboo shoot" in Japanese.

Artist: Katuya Andokatuya ando

The exhibition site is a mysteriously adandoned house located
at a mountainside which is across from Sori Station.
The artist KatuyaAndo creates intereactive installation
inspired by the rituals of purification.

yamaguchi ryo● Kotajima Stoneworks

Artist: Ryo Yamagichi

Ryo Yamaguchi creates large scale installation in a
former stone factory which was used to be one of
Sori's major industries.

Work Title: "Creating Nature(Mountain)"

—We take rocks from a mountin, from the rocks we
make stones. My work attempts to reassemble those
stones into a mountain. —

ryokan●The Museum of Ceramics and Ryokan's Writings

A small museum run by Midori City exhibits a private collection of
Mr. Matsushima which consists of
approximately 1,000 Japanese and
East Asian ceramics and several pieces of Monk Ryokan's writings.

Admission:Adults: 300yen Students under 15: 200yen
